BUILDER/CARPENTER

Birdseye is currently seeking experienced carpenters for full-time positions. Ideal candidates are motivated, dependable, and detail oriented with 5 or more years of work experience in construction.

Commitment to punctuality.
Willingness to take direction and feedback.
Team oriented approach .
Attention to detail .
Initiative in working independently and asking questions.
Basic hand tools and tool belt.
Discretion 
Desire to be part of a team that builds award winning homes . 

Job responsibilities:
Arrive to work on time and be ready to work a full day.
Have reliable transportation.
Be prepared to work in varying weather conditions.
Perform carpentry work including, but not limited to,  siding, stairs, cabinetry, and
interior finishes.
Perform carpentry work through all phases of construction from framing to interior finish.

SITEWORKS PROJECT ASSISTANT

The Birdseye Siteworks team is seeking a Project Assistant to aid with project success by supporting our Siteworks Manager, Project Engineer and Equipment Operators. The Project Assistant is responsible for assisting with project development, documentation and tracking as well as maintaining the necessary state and federal documentation needed for the operation of our fleet of machinery. Internal and external collaboration is key to the success of this role; therefore, the ideal candidate excels at communication and relationship building.

Project Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Coordinating with the team to track project opportunity costs.
Identifying and coordinating information needed for project contracts as well as key, atypical contract requirements.
Communicating project bid timelines to the team and collaborates with the team on bid submittals.
Entering project start-up documentation in Accounting and Project Tracking software.
Updating the Project Tracking and Accounting software with project start-up information and status updates to reflect accurate and up-to-date information.
Permit submissions and meeting coordination as needed.
Can aid with project invoicing by comparing project budget with actual time and materials to-date costs and collaborating with Accounting for customized invoices.
Have a general awareness of all active and future projects in the project pipeline.

Team Support Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Making adjustments to and exporting time entries from time keeping software and sharing with Accounting team.
Scanning/uploading material slips.
Creating purchase orders as needed.
Coordinating the activities and renewals necessary for Equipment Operators to meet ongoing CDL requirements.
Maintaining Siteworks Department vehicle and equipment registration and insurance renewals

What you bring to the table:
Moxie. Not the soda but the attitude.
Strong communication skills and a desire to be an effective collaborator.
5+ years of construction industry experience.
The ability to read and understand site plans.
The desire and skills to learn and become proficient with multiple software including Microsoft Teams, project tracking and accounting software.
Schedule flexibility.

What Birdseye Offers:
This is a 32hour/week, Monday – Friday position, with the potential to evolve with the right candidate.
Pay range: $25-$30/hour depending on experience
