Craft, Community, and Reclaimed Design: Birdseye at AIAVT’s Inaugural Furniture Competition

Birdseye was proud to participate in AIAVT’s inaugural Furniture Design Competition and fundraiser to support programming and scholarships on June 21st at the Historic Shelburne Town Hall. The Birdseye architecture and woodshop teams collaborated to create three unique seating pieces—each crafted from reclaimed materials and designed to celebrate form, function, and sustainability.

The event drew visitors from the neighboring library and farmers market, highlighting the accessibility and creativity of Vermont’s design community. Birdseye is honored to support opportunities that connect craft, community, and thoughtful design.
